As I said before, I am in the early stages of living in a blogosphere. Therefore, I will soon have a new format to my blog (similar in style) that will allow for me to do more. Please bear with me as I get this accomplished! More soon!
Sick. Clothing as art once again.

The ANORAK is blowing up! It’s everywhere and it’s adorable. The range of colors …the various cuts…the array fabrics that range from nylon to twill to silk are all reasons to find your favorite! Some styles can even pass for day wear blazers, as opposed to rain jackets. Take a look at the collection above and notice how many are in fabulous price points!

We have all been made aware of the wonders of Spanx in recent years. Thank you Oprah. However, not all shape wear products are created equal. I have certainly been the victim of bad shape wear purchases many a time myself, which is why I’m excited to share such a great find. The Fat Free Dressing Tank Top by Flexees (Maidenform). There is nothing uber luxury about this product. In fact, I stumbled across it at Costco of all places. I know — don’t judge the fact that I purchased clothing at a bulk retail store. But, hey, you have to have your eyes peeled everywhere for the next best thing. These tanks have a built in “controller” in the middle … perfect for those among us needing a little extra help here, or even you skinny chicks who enjoyed too many beers last night. Once issue I have had with tanks like these in the past, is that they tend to roll up like a snapped spring if you breath out too many times…I’m lucky I haven’t been hit in the face! This product does NOT do that. Ah-mazing. Check them out yourself…and let me know if you like any of their other products too!

My apologies for not being prompt in my posts! I’m working on it…
So, up next in trends is the MAXI DRESS. As a petite woman with a chest, this is not my go-to in terms of looks. However, the more I see women wear them with cool jackets and sandals, the more I am tempted to jump on the bandwagon. I think it is all in what you pair them with. A belt could definitely be your friend here. I’ve gathered some of my favorites to run the spectrum of options availables. Everything from florals, to geometric prints, to solids. Does anyone else want to play with paper dolls after seeing these pictures?

I’ve never attended the District Sample Sale before…but forty bucks to attend this awesome event?
I’m looking forward to it!
I want spring, and it’s time to play dress up. Ok, this may not be your typical spring floral and delicate sandal ensemble. However, it is MY kind of spring look- muted colors palettes, masculine edges and bold jewelry. A great work to happy hour look as well!
